3 YEAR WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. a) The warranty period for your AEG tool is 36 months from the date of purchase. To claim under this warranty, the date of purchase of the AEG tool must be documented by an invoice or other proof of purchase.
b) The warranty period for battery packs, chargers and apparel are 12 months from the date of purchase. To claim under this warranty, the date of purchase must be documented by a receipt or other proof of purchase.
2.a) Extended warranty does not apply to generators, compressors, air tools and apparel.
b) You may extend the warranty period for your AEG tool to 72 months from the date of purchase. You may extend the warranty period for your AEG battery and battery charger to 36 months from the date of purchase. To obtain the extended warranty, the registration process must be completed within 30 days from the date of purchase. Extended warranty periods for chucks, collets, and fixtec systems are not available.
3. The warranty covers all defects or damages to the product during the warranty period which are clearly due to faulty workmanship or materials and is limited to necessary repairs and /or adjustments.
THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
Unauthorized or improper use or maintenance, or overloading.
Failure by the end user to comply with operating procedures outlined in the product manual.
A product that is incomplete when submitted for repair.
Damage or liability caused by or occurring as a result of misuse, abuse, accidental or intentional acts by the user, improper handling, unreasonable use or negligence.
Attempted repair by non-qualified professional and unauthorized repairs.
Deterioration caused by normal wear and tear, including but not restricted to, spark plugs, drive / tooth belts, air filter, brushes, pump valves, bearings and piston rings.
Accessories, including but not restricted to, battery packs, light bulbs, blades, fittings, bags, fuses and fuel. Modification or use of accessories and/or attachments not specifically confirmed as compatible by AEG POWERTOOLS.
