  1. Bad Customer service

    I am having endless problems with Ford Umgeni and i complained to FORD SA so many times but nothing is done about it, i feel so helpless. I have two vehicles with Ford and the service i receive is absolutely bad. I get a call from a call center agent who is so useless and still cant help me so why do they call

  2. Terrible Customer service

    The service at Ford Randburg is absolutely terrible. I have been calling the Finance department non stop and there is no answer. The sales consultants take my number and never phone back. The phone gets put down in my ear when i call the Dealer Principal. I have complained to Ford SA but no response. I am paying the price for this as my service km’s is over the threshold and i still have not received my service documents after 7 months.

    I bought about a month ago a new Ford Ranger and was very disappointed in the deal. I wrote a letter of complaint to your website without response. This is the last attempt to lay my complaint. Will someone please call me. Number 0823734333. If no feedback is received I will use social media that will cause your company huge damage.

  4. Sync 3 Navigation on 2018 Ford Everest - Pathetic.

    No one from Ford SA head office has shown any interest in resolving the problem. In spite of me following the correct protocols. They refuse to correspond / communicate with THEIR client / customer directly. it is now 2yrs and 3 months since I purchased my Ford Everest XLT 2.2 (2018 model).

    The Navigation does not work!!!

    Good day

    I bought a 2020 Ford Ranger XLS E/C A/T 4×2 from Ford Nelspruit on the 11th of July 2020. I worked with Hestea Coetzee on the deal. It is the 22nd of September 2020 today and I currently do not have the vehicle in my possession and here is why:
    On the 11th of July 2020 when I collected the vehicle, I took it home and did a thorough inspection as no inspection was done at the dealer when collecting the vehicle as it was almost closing time. I noticed that the barcoded sticker was still on the roof, the inside of the tailgate was dirty and there was a lot of lining glue on the inside of my roof. I notified Ford Nelspruit immediately.
    I was then advised to take my vehicle to Clear Water Perfect-a-car as I was living in Edenvale at the time. Perfect-a-car tried to clean the glue but just made it worse. I was then advised to choose a Ford near me to help with replacing the roof liner. I chose Basil Green Ford in Greenstone as I serviced my previous Ford with them. I took my vehicle to them for the first liner repair. What a disaster. They had warned me before collecting the vehicle that the installation was unsuccessful but it literally looked like my vehicle was in an accident. The lights were falling out, all handles were dirty and all brackets were loose. They even put the roof handles upside down. After asking them to fix the lights for me, I was told to just take a piece of Prestik to keep it in its place and they will replace it when I take my vehicle back for its second liner repair.
    The second liner repair at Basil Green Ford was almost successful. I then informed Ford Nelspruit that I do not want this vehicle anymore as my vehicle looked second hand on the inside. All the parts were loose, lights were falling out, extra scratches on the interior were noted and I paid for a new spotless vehicle. I expressed my disappointment and the above mentioned in an email to the owners of Ford Nelspruit and its managers.
    Thereafter, Ford Nelspruit then informed me that they would come fetch my vehicle on a truck or trailer and take it back to them in order to fix the roof. They however decided to drive it back without informing me that the plans had changed. That is 340km on my new vehicle that I did not drive. They gave me a curtesy vehicle (Double cab) on the 3rd of September 2020 but after a week had to take it back as it was sold. They then sent me a single cab on the 10th of September 2020 without asking me if it would be sufficient and I had to tell them to send me a super cab instead as I would not be able to do my work and day to day tasks with a single cab. On the 15th of September I received the super cab with which I am driving now. The scary part is that all the above-mentioned vehicles came all the way from Nelspruit when it could’ve been prevented, not one vehicle was sanitised before handover – while we are currently in a Covid-19 pandemic, and the double and single cab vehicles were handed over to me very dirty.
    After this whole vehicle swapping situation, and a further wait of approximately 3 weeks with nothing being done just yet, no clear plan or indication on when I’ll be getting back my vehicle, my patience ran out. I told Ford Nelspruit that I wanted my vehicle and was sick and tired of waiting. They then told me that they first had to discuss the matter with Basil Green Ford regarding the payment of the third roof liner. That same day the 15th of September 2020 the service manager Pauline phoned me and said that she would personally give me day to day updates on my vehicle. It is now the 25th of September 2020 and I have not heard anything from Ford Nelspruit since the 15th of September 2020.
    I do not believe that I am unfair to say that this is the most terrible customer service that I have ever received. The product Ford Ranger is an outstanding vehicle and I prefer to drive it over the Toyota Hilux, but the customer service is horrific. I do believe that I can request a new vehicle as mine had more wear and tear through this process than a second-hand vehicle.

  6. Bad service

    recently purchased a vehicle from Ford Kempton, what a terrible experience. Upon test driving the vehicle a mentioned to them that the brakes on the vehicle are making a noise. I was advised that the vehicle will receive a full service before I collect it, I also noted to them that the USB cover was missing and was advised that this would be replaced at their cost.

    Less than a month after I purchased the vehicle I took it back to them, as the brakes were once again making a noise. I was then advised that my vehicle can be collected later that day, however this was not the case and it was only ready a few days later. Ford advised that they skimmed the brake discs and that the matter has been resolved.

    Yet again, with less than a month passing I experienced the same issue with the brakes and I returned my vehicle to Ford. This time I was advised that the brakes in the vehicle is of low quality and that all the Renaults have this issue. The sales consultant then went in to tell me that their manager advised that they will not be replacing the brakes as they feel it is too expensive and should I like to replace them it would be at my expense.

    After numerous attempts to get a time frame from Ford as to when I will be receiving the USB cover, I was advised that they are ordering one as they do not have one on hand. I was advised that they will not pay for a cover as it is more expensive then what they initially thought. Thus once again I did not receive the service I was promised when purchasing the vehicle.

    This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional, as I was advised on the purchase of the vehicle that these matters will be resolved before I collect the vehicle. Ford Kempton fails to take any responsibility for their terrible customer service. I will NEVER again purchase a vehicle Ford, as I feel that they are pathetic and do not care for their clients, they only seem to care about making empty promises to make money out of you.
