Not impressed with Ford’s Service. Have an onboard computer problem on a Ford Fiesta Titanium. System was checked a couple of months ago and I was advised to replace the vehicle’s battery and after two months on board messaging still indicates “alarm message”.

Service provider closest to me can only assist me in 12 days time, meaning that I need to drive around with a vehicle giving alarm messages and hoping for the best that I will not get stuck alongside the road at night.

    Good day

I’m very much disappointed in the quality of the Rangers. I had a problem with my air con controll unit inside. It just stop fuctioning without any reason. The air con switch did not function. I took it to Ford where they confirm that the switch was burned. They could not give the reason why. I got a new switch from SA. After I replaced it it work 100%. After about 30000km the new one also failed. I again asked Ford and they said they can order a new one but my bakkie is out of waranty and I therefore will have to pay for a new one. I again ordered a switch from SA as the one from Ford will cost me again over R5000-00. Therefor I ordered one from SA which again cost me R3000. Now also this one has failed. How is it possible that it keeps on failing and everytime I have to pay such amount to replace the unit? Is there no way that Ford can assist to claim the unit and to be replaced?

Hope you can assist me in this matter

    Thank you
